Dolomites Adventure Cinematic Film

During my year of living and photographing in the familiar grandeur of the French Alps, I felt a constant pull eastward to a different kind of mountain magic. I was fortunate enough to answer that call three separate times, making the journey in my van to the Italian Dolomites. Each visit was its own distinct chapter, a new story written with moments of quiet solitude, shared adventure, and profound personal discovery.

It was on these travels that I connected with my friend Nico Taborra, a fellow landscape photographer who, like me, is deeply passionate about capturing the wilderness. As a local, he possesses an intimate knowledge of his Dolomite home, and exploring with another artist who shares the same vision was a transformative experience. We were two photographers pushing each other creatively, exchanging ideas against the backdrop of soaring peaks. Our shared goal was to venture out and capture the essence of the most breathtaking locations, chasing the fleeting light together.

This short film is my heartfelt attempt to distill those invaluable experiences. In it, I’ve captured fragments of the magic we found: the raw, architectural drama of the peaks piercing the clouds, the deep stillness of an empty trail at dawn, and the incredible warmth of the golden light that washes over the landscape, leaving you in a state of pure awe.

This film is for anyone drawn to the art of mountain photography, for the fellow seekers of van life adventures, and for all who simply feel a connection to the wild beauty of the outdoors. More than anything, I hope it brings you a welcome moment of peace.
