Standing Guard captures a rare and timeless moment in the Dolomites, far from crowded places. I found this scene while exploring remote corners of the mountains, drawn to the quiet strength of this solitary formation standing watch beneath the peaks. Using an ultra-wide perspective, I wanted to preserve the feeling I had in that moment: being close to the land, surrounded by depth, silence, and the raw presence of the wild. The result is a unique artwork where stone, light, and atmosphere come together in a way that feels both powerful and deeply still.
