Workshop Terms

To reserve your spot in the workshop, a 25% non-refundable deposit of the total fee is required at the time of booking.

The remaining balance must be paid in full 90 days before the workshop start date. A payment link will be sent to you.

All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD), taxes included. At checkout, you will see the price converted to your local currency.

If you need to cancel your workshop for any reason including unforeseen events or illness, you should notifying Jamil Slim Photography as soon as possible by email info@jamilslim.com. We strongly recommend arranging travel insurance when booking. If something comes up, feel free to reach out, we’ll do our best to find a solution.

Please note that cancellations can impact trip logistics and may risk not meeting the minimum number of participants.

• Deposit: The 25% deposit is non-refundable.
• Cancellation made at least 60 days prior to the start will be refunded at 50%
• Cancellation made at least 45 days prior to the start will be refunded at 25%
• Cancellation made less than 30 days prior to the start is non-refundable
• Your booking can be transferred if you find someone to take your spot and pay the full trip cost.

Jamil Slim Photography reserves the right to cancel any workshop at any time due to insufficient registrations, logistical complications, or circumstances beyond our control. In the event of a cancellation, all registered participants will receive a full refund of the total amount paid within 14 business days. You will be notified as soon as possible.

While we carefully plan each workshop, the itinerary may be adjusted based on weather conditions. If the original plan is not feasible, we will seamlessly arrange alternative locations or activities.

In rare cases, we may need to cancel a workshop before or during the event due to medical emergencies, low participation, severe weather, or other unforeseen circumstances. If this happens, you will receive a credit for the unused portion of the workshop, valid for 12 months, which can be applied to a future workshop.

Rest assured, we are committed to making the experience both safe and rewarding for you!

We want your workshop experience to be smooth and stress-free! To protect yourself, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance when booking. It should cover trip cancellations, delays, flight changes, lost belongings or baggage, medical emergencies, illness (including COVID-19), and any unexpected events. While we’ll do our best to support you, Jamil Slim Photography is not responsible for these situations.

To ensure everyone’s safety, participants must follow all instructions from the workshop team. Disruptive behavior or failure to adhere to safety guidelines may lead to removal from the workshop without a refund. Let’s keep things fun and safe for all!

For everyone’s safety and enjoyment, all participants in a workshop are expected to:

• Act responsibly and safely
• Listen to and follow all instructions from the workshop staff

We’re all in this together to make the experience great for everyone!

Before joining the workshop, all participants must complete a Booking Form and a Workshop Participant Form. These are essential for participation and required for legal reasons, so please fill them out accurately.

We respect your privacy and we will keep your information confidential. To ensure a safe and smooth experience, we collect basic details like your name, address, medical info, allergies, emergency contact etc.., strictly for workshop purposes.

By registering for and participating in a Jamil Slim Photography workshop, I acknowledge that outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and photographing in various terrains and weather conditions involve inherent risks, including but not limited to uneven and steep terrain, extreme weather, slippery surfaces, wildlife encounters, physical exertion, and potential equipment damage or loss. I confirm that my participation is entirely voluntary, and I accept full responsibility for my own safety and well-being.

I understand that by joining this workshop, I agree to release, waive, and discharge Jamil Slim Photography, its team, and volunteers from any claims or liabilities related to personal injury, property damage, or any other incidents that may occur during the workshop, whether under supervision or not. I accept full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages to my property.

If I ever feel unsafe or uncertain, I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to seek guidance from the workshop staff. I agree to follow all instructions provided by Jamil Slim Photography, wear appropriate clothing and footwear, and manage any personal medications or health-related needs. I confirm that I am physically and mentally capable of participating in the planned activities. I also understand that emergency medical assistance may not be immediately available in certain locations.

Ultimately, I acknowledge that I am participating at my own risk, with full awareness of these potential challenges. By signing below, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
