Alone under the rain, waiting. No camera in hand, just standing in it, letting the water from this land soak in. Then for a short moment, light broke through the clouds.
This is the Jura's tufa cascades in full flow, shot handheld in the rain at 14mm, close enough to feel the spray. The exposed roots and moss-covered stump in the foreground aren't staged. They're what was there, holding their ground against the current the way they have for years.
Nature doesn't need help looking like this. No sky replacements, no added elements, just patience and the right second of light.
